Description
Summary
Contains metabolically active forms of vitamin B6 and B12, folinic acid and magnesium citrate, a high bioavailable form of magnesium
Contains nutrients that:
- Support the production of energy within the brain, acetylcholine synthesis, normal mitochondrial energy production and brain phospholipid metabolism
- Include a precursor for neurotransmitters associated with stress and the synthesis of some catecholamines
- Have numerous neuromodulatory effects
- Modulate synaptic transmission and plasticity
- May influence learning and memory in an age-dependent manner
- Control the activation of N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptors in the brain, which play an essential role in neuronal/synaptic plasticity, learning and memory
Dosage & warnings
1 metric teaspoon (4 g) twice daily in water or juice
Avoid concomitant use of acetyl-L-carnitine with blood thinning medication including warfarin
Use with caution during pregnancy
Discontinue 7 days prior to general anaesthesia
