Enterosgel Gastrointestinal Adsorbent Gel - 225g Tube

Enterosgel® is a gastrointestinal adsorbent and detoxifying agent, registered with the Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA, ARTG 351820) and CE-marked as a Class IIa Medical Device (CE 0123). It is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of acute diarrhoea and Irritable Bowel Syndrome with diarrhoea (IBS-D).

Enterosgel works physically in the gut, binding toxic and harmful substances (such as endotoxins and enterotoxins) to its surface and carrying them out of the body with the stool - without being absorbed itself. It may help reduce stool frequency, urgency, bloating and abdominal pain associated with diarrhoea and IBS-D.

How to use

Shake the tube well before opening and each use. Dilute the dose in room-temperature water prior to administration. Take Enterosgel 1-2 hours before or after food, and at least 2 hours apart from other oral medications. Treatment duration is typically 3-5 days for acute diarrhoea and up to 30 days for IBS-D.

Always read the label and follow the directions for use. Do not use if you are currently taking modified-release oral medications, or if you have intestinal atony/blockage. If symptoms persist, consult your healthcare professional.
